Phew, how annoying…
I understand that parents want to sit next to their children on the plane, but isn’t it their job to take this into account when reserving seats and not try to give the seat to someone else on the day of the flight?
I definitely believe that, and that’s why this story really got on my nerves…
A woman named Rylie said she was on a flight from Denver when a couple with four young children boarded the plane.
She said the father of the family caught her attention, explaining, “He pointed to the row behind me and said, ‘Hey, I was talking to the guy behind you. There’s no one sitting between them right now.’ There was a guy in the window seat and another guy in the right seat. So the middle seat was free.”
Hmmmm…
Rylie said she paid an extra $40 to get a window seat and she told the man she was getting nervous on the flight and didn’t want to change seats… and the man wasn’t happy about it.
Rylie said: “He looks me straight in the eye and says, ‘Oh, so you’re really going to let a child sit alone in the middle seat without their family?'”
She then asked him why he didn’t switch seats with his child so she could sit with her siblings, and he came up with a pretty lame excuse.
Finally, a flight attendant intervened and persuaded the father to swap seats with his child.
What nerve some people have!
Let’s watch the video.
@ryspams4 As a real mother, I never understand the audacity of parents who think they are better than others. And the kicker is that HIS NAME was on the middle seat ticket, not even his poor daughter’s 😭😭😭 #horrorstories #americanairlines #dia #denver #audacity #fyp #viral

This viewer has stated the obvious.
Another person spoke THE TRUTH.
And this person made an observation…
This kind of thing drives me crazy…
