Our favorite part of the hotel: The incredible infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea is to die for. Minimalistic and beautiful, it lets the landscape shine.

Equipment: Gerofinikas offers laundry service, room service, massages, yoga classes and late check-out. The staff loves Sifnos and can help you plan activities on the island, including horse riding, wine tasting, cooking classes and scuba diving.

What’s nearby? The hotel is just a few minutes from Kelari, a fantastic and authentic Greek restaurant, and Narlis, a wonderful farm that offers cooking classes. Other restaurants and hotels are also within walking distance.

Any personal recommendations from the neighborhood? I personally recommend a cooking class at Narlis. It is a very intimate and unique experience that will make you feel connected to the culture and cuisine of Sifnos.

Nearest airport: There is no airport on the island of Sifnos. The nearest airports with domestic flights are in Milos and Athens, but you can reach Sifnos – like many other Greek islands – by ferry.
