“A turning point.” New direct flight to the Northeast from Sarasota Bradenton Airport

Less than a week after announcing six new nonstop flights from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Breeze Airways has added another direct flight.

The airline said a new nonstop flight from SRQ to New Haven, Connecticut, will launch on February 7, 2025. The announcement is part of Breeze’s Northeast expansion, with New Haven serving as a nonstop route to 10 destinations, including six in Florida.

“From day one, our plan envisioned significant growth in the Northeastern United States, where population density is high and nonstop travel options are limited,” said Lukas Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer of Breeze Airways. “Our unique air service model has created a game-changing impact in this region of the country.”

Other Florida cities with direct flights to New Haven via Breeze include Fort Myers, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Vero Beach and Jacksonville.

The SRQ flight is available on Mondays and Fridays starting at $69. To receive this special price, you must book the SRQ to Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN) between Tuesday and Monday, August 19, for travel between February 7 and May 13, 2025.

Price includes taxes and government fees, but restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Visit www.FlyBreeze.com for more information.

Last week, Breeze Airways announced new direct flights to Westchester County, New York; Akron, Ohio; Portland, Maine; Long Island-Islip, New York; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and Richmond, Virginia.
