A source close to Aamir Khan revealed that Aamir wants to explore the field of comedy in his next film. “Serious films don’t work… It’s been ages since Aamir did something light, frothy and funny like Optional extras And Ishq”, the source revealed.
Aamir Khan is planning to act in a comic film on the lines of Andaz Apna Apna and Ishq.
We hear that Aamir is planning a weird stay with his Optional extras Director Rajkumar Santoshi, for whom Aamir last produced Lahore 1947.
Aamir Khan had no idea that he was entering a full-blown grieving phase when he accidentally revealed on a podcast that he was thinking of quitting. Since then, the news of Aamir’s so-called retirement has not only gone viral, it has also become a source of embarrassment for Aamir.
A source close to Aamir revealed, “Aamir gets emotional instantly. He is probably the only star who cries on regular podcasts. The announcement of quitting acting was quite spontaneous. Aamir can take long breaks from acting. But he can never quit the profession. In fact, we will hear an announcement from Aamir about his next project in the next few months.”
Aamir’s last two films Thugs of Hindostan And Laal Singh Chaddha were clear disasters. The great Dilip Kumar took a break from acting in 1998 after Qilla flopped at the box office. Dilip Kumar immediately realized the truth: being Dilip Kumar was not enough to be successful. With his wise mind, Dilip Kumar realized that the cinema in which he played the leading role was too small to bear the burden of his image.
In 2001, after Aamir achieved two consecutive historic Lagaan And Dil Chahta Haihe took a four-year break from acting.
