Kanchipally Anji Babu makes his directorial debut with Aay.
Talking about the name of the film, actor Narne Nithiin said that the title was not originally “Aay”.
The film Aay is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 15. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film which is just two days away. Actor Narne Nithiin, who rose to fame with his role in MAD, will be seen playing a key role in this film. Nayan Sarika is expected to be seen opposite Narne.
Aay is the directorial debut of Kanchipally Anji Babu. It is produced by Allu Aravind, Bunny Vasu and Koppineedi Vidya. All the crew members are currently busy with promotional events. Actor Nithiin shared his insights and experiences of working on Aay with the media.
Talking about the name of the film, the actor mentioned that the title was not originally Aay. Later, producer Aravind came up with the idea of using this name as the title. Narne further said, “The film is full of comic elements, that’s why this name has been chosen. When the film hits the theatres, people will understand the main reason behind its name.”
Several other films are scheduled to release on the same day. Narne said, “Yes, there are many films scheduled to release on August 15. However, we believe our film will be a huge hit as we have our audience base. It has been a long time since a good, entertaining film set in the backdrop of Godavari was released. We are confident that fans will enjoy it.”
Director Kanchipally Anji Babu is making his directorial debut with this film. Narne mentioned that he is a young director from the town of Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh. He said that Aay portrayed several life experiences of the director. “He is a very nice man and gets along with everyone easily. Hee is a very friendly person on the sets,” the actor added.
Narne revealed that NTR had seen the trailer of the film and liked the comedy elements a lot. He said, “He liked the trailer and had fun. It would be great if we get a similar reaction from him after he sees the entire film.”
Talking about the film, he said that everyone involved has worked with full commitment to make it a big success. Ram Miriyala has composed three songs and the actor believes that music will play a big role in the success of the film.
