Air India has launched its latest in-flight entertainment service ‘Vista’, which offers passengers uninterrupted access to a variety of content on their personal devices. Vista was initially launched on the airline’s wide-body fleet and will soon be available on narrow-body aircraft as well.

Vista is powered by Bluebox, runs on the Blueview digital service platform and is delivered over the Bluebox Wow wireless network system. The service allows passengers to stream an extensive library of entertainment directly to their personal electronic devices, including iOS, Android, Windows and macOS platforms. From Bollywood blockbusters and Hollywood premieres to global music hits and gripping documentaries, Vista ensures that Air India passengers have over 950 hours of curated entertainment at their fingertips, including live flight tracking.

Commenting on the product launch, Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India, said, “At Air India, we continually strive to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our modern travelers. We are excited to introduce Vista, a new feature that enables seamless integration of personal devices and enhances the overall travel experience of our customers.”

Kevin Birchmore, VP Global Sales at Bluebox, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are delighted to partner with Air India. Together, we aim to set new standards for a personalized customer experience and uninterrupted enjoyment that reflects both Air India’s commitment to excellence and our dedication to engaging and entertaining our customers on board.”

Vista is currently available on most of Air India’s widebody fleet, but not on the newly introduced Boeing 777 and Airbus A350. The service will gradually be expanded to the airline’s narrowbody fleet, promising an enhanced flight experience for all passengers.
