Airline adds more flights to Sunport for Balloon Fiesta

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — An airline is expanding its flights from two major airports to the Albuquerque International Sunport for Balloon Fiesta this year.

The two airports are Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport. From October 2nd to 15th, there will be flights from both destinations to the Sunport every day.

“Albuquerque is a vibrant city that really comes alive during the famous Balloon Fiesta. We’re excited to enable more visitors to experience this special event with our new limited-time service from Dallas-Fort Worth and Los Angeles, which complements our year-round service to Las Vegas,” said John Kirby, vice president of network planning for Spirit Airlines. “New Mexico’s unique culinary scene and natural landscape provide our guests with many opportunities to explore the city with friends and family.”

Spirit Airlines already offers daily year-round service to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more information, click here.
