On Saturday, Ariana Grande showcased her new bangs in her Instagram stories to promote the upcoming release of her album Forget it!. In the video, she shows off the cut and her long honey blonde hair, standing in front of a blank wall. It’s half up and half down and held back with a black ribbon. She wore a purple top and pearl earrings and had thick eyelashes and wing-shaped eyeliner around her eyes.
In the lower right corner of the video she has placed a countdown to the release of her album.
Grande only announced her seventh studio album in January. It will be her first release since 2020, when she released her hit album PositionsSince the reveal, she has gradually posted the titles of upcoming songs and released her single “Yes, And?” on January 12th.
This weekend, she also shared photos from a listening party with her friends and family, writing an effusive tribute to them in the caption.
“A very happy, emotional and special day that I will always remember,” she wrote. “I had the joy of sharing the eternal sunshine with some of my babies in the place I created it. I wish more (or all) of you could have been there (I ask in advance that you be happy for the people who were able to be there!)…I couldn’t wait a moment longer so I didn’t. My heart is overwhelmed to say the least. Thank you for traveling (or zooming in), for your love, for your ears, your hearts and for always being the human embodiment of love. You mean everything.”
This is a big year for Grande. Alongside her album, her long-awaited film Evil will be released in November. She has been working on the production for some time and plays Glinda in the adaptation of the popular Broadway musical.
