Artist Nick Ross’s Ghostbusters: Ectocism comic series continues. Download issue #5 now

The highly anticipated fifth edition of artist Nick Ross’ fan-made graphic novel series Ghostbusters: Ectozimus has just been released and triggers an interdimensional crossrip on New York City!

In this latest episode, we are officially reintroduced to Dana Barrett, who was questionably recruited to perform at a ceremony celebrating the restoration of the Shandor TowerOf course, it doesn’t take long for things to go wrong, especially with a Vinz Clortho-obsessed Louis Tully searching for his Gatekeeper; all the time Ghost Hunters Clean the city streets with the reliable help of a slime blower and perform some much-needed Ectocisms…er, exorcisms.

The 300-page adventure, which spans nine issues, is beautifully illustrated through oil paintings that depict not only characters but also locations true to the original. Ghost Hunters franchise, but also a supporting cast full of new but familiar faces. Among them, fans will find Eugene Levy in the role of Sherman Tully, a character from Ghostbusters IIThe various deleted scenes, while Henry Gibson appears as Ivo Shandor, the novel’s antagonist, with Gibson arguably best known for his roles in The Blues Brothers And The suburbs.

Even if it is not part of the canon, Ghostbusters: Ectozimus is 100% fan-made; the story offers an entertaining portrayal of what could have happened after the events of 1989. Ghostbusters IIRoss not only took on the role of artist in this massive undertaking, but also wrote the story.
