Australia’s Flight Options launches Citation 550

Flight Options (Australia) (Sunshine Coast) is selling a 23 year old Cessna Citation 550, currently registered VH-CCJ (MSN 550-0953), due to a change in the company’s business services and offerings.

The aircraft’s total flight time is around 3,300 hours and 2,697 cycles. It can carry eight passengers in the main cabin, and an additional seat in the cockpit allows nine passengers to be carried when operated by a single pilot. Flight Options says the business jet is in “immaculate condition.”

“As Flight Options has owned and operated this aircraft for a number of years, the company is in the perfect position to offer it with a management package that includes crew training and the issuance of an Air Operator Certificate. This opens up the opportunity to offset operating costs by making the aircraft available to the charter market,” the company posted on its social media platforms.

Flight Options is a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approved charter operator with aircraft registered for Australian and international operations and based in Sydney and the Sunshine Coast. According to CASA records, a Flight Options-related company, AAA Aircraft Pty Ltd, owns VH-CCJ as well as a second Citation 550 with registration number VH-VDF (MSN 550-0649) and a Piper (twin turboprop) PA-44-180 with registration number VH-JQD (MSN 44-8107046). It also operates two Embraer E505s, a Falcon 2000EX and a Cessna 750 on behalf of various companies.
