Bam Smack Pow Comic Fighting Tournament: Super Villains Level 1

The comic fighting tournament Bam Smack Pow continues. In the first round, only superheroes competed against each other. At the end, there are some expected winners and unexpected losers.

Superman was knocked out by Doctor Strange in the first round. The Man of Steel was ahead at first, but toward the end, people voted more for Doctor Strange. Wonder Woman defeating Zatanna was no surprise. The Amazon is among the best in the universe. Thor dominated the voting against Invincible (no surprise), as did Wanda Maximoff in defeating the Silver Surfer. Carol Danvers beats Jon Stewart in a battle of space cops, while Magento scores a victory over the Hulk. Storm scores a surprise victory over Wally West, and Jean Grey crushes Hal Jordan in the voting.

Now it’s the villains’ turn.

Think of it like sports tournaments. The hero in 1st place fights the one in last place, 2nd place fights the one in second to last, and so on. Just because you’re in last place doesn’t mean you’re the worst. Things like big wins, power sets, and popularity are taken into account.

If you’re wondering why popularity is a reason for ranking, it’s simple. A less popular character doesn’t get the same attention as others. That’s why Wonder Woman is always involved in a major storyline. Not only is she one of the strongest and best fighters in comics, she’s also popular. Now take someone like Invincible. He’s growing up to be a major hero and one of the strongest in comics. But he hasn’t been around as long as most of the people on this list. That’s important.

Then, and this might be the most important, there is personality. A character is more than his powers. Victor von Doom is a genius who should have been the Sorcerer Supreme years ago. The problem is his arrogance. Because of this trait, he keeps losing to Reed Richards. There are also heroes and anti-heroes like John Constantine. Is he a better sorcerer than Dr. Strange? Probably not, but he is willing to fight unfairly and use other people to win. That has to be taken into account.

Teaser artwork for the fourth season of “The Boys” – Homelander

When Doomsday came to Earth, he destroyed everyone who stood in his way (Justice League America No. 69). It’s no surprise that he’s number one on this list. Is the comic book version of Homelander strong enough to defeat the guy who took out Superman?

Thanos has defeated everyone from Thor to the Hulk. The problem is, Sinestro isn’t them. With his fearsome Lantern Ring, Sinestro has overcome insurmountable odds. Now voters will decide if Sinestro’s ring of power is too much for the Mad Titan.

LOKI season 2 ends

The Main Man can heal anything and regularly pushes Superman to his limits. However, he has never fought anyone with Loki’s cunning and magical abilities. This is more about brains than brawn.

The Void once killed two gods in one day (Ares and later Loki during Marvel Comics siege). Black Adam has centuries of experience and has ripped people in half long before The Void did it to Carnage (New Avengers No. 2). Which performance is more important here?

En Sabah Nur can take on any X-Men and win. Omni-Man once killed Earth’s best super team before they knew what happened. En Sabah Nur can heal from anything Omni-Man throws at him, but will he underestimate the Viltrumite warrior?

This will be the closest fight of this round.

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

Gorr was seconds away from killing every god of the past, present and future (Thor: God of Thunder: God Bomb). Thraag ruled dozens of planets across the galaxy with fear and incredible planning. It will come down to who is willing to take the greatest punishment. My money is on Thragg.

injustice Superman embodies everything people fear about the Man of Steel. Brainiac is possibly the most intelligent being in the galaxy. He has defeated Superman before, but he is never afraid to kill. But is that enough?

Anissa has no experience advantage over Darkseid. The Lord of Apokolips is one of the few people who can say that. Darkseid is not one to take others lightly either. The only thing Anissa has is speed and the ability to do whatever is necessary. Is that enough?
