Batman’s most dangerous creation has just single-handedly dismantled one of the most powerful Teen Titans of all time.


While the few remaining Titans are busy fighting on the pages of Absolute Power: Task Force VII #4, their worst enemies are already at the door. Despite all the heroes’ efforts, the android called Failsafe is stronger than any of them can manage. This becomes painfully clear in the case of Miss Martian, because without her powers she is no match for the overpowering shadow of the Dark Knight that pursues her.

M’gann M’orzz, better known as Miss Martian, was introduced in 2006 in the pages of Teen Titans #37 by writer Geoff Johns and artist Tony S. Daniel. Much like her heroic predecessor J’onn J’onzz, also known as Martian Manhunter, M’gaan found refuge on Earth and assumed the form of the otherwise ordinary teenager Megan Morse. In a significantly different twist from Martian Manhunter, however, Miss Martian hails from the infamous race of White Martians who were responsible for the near-annihilation of their Green Martian counterparts.

Miss Martian is just one of many iconic superheroines who have been stripped of their powers throughout the DC Comics series. Absolute power Event. Using the Failsafe android, Amanda Waller developed six more Amazo androids, also modeled after members of the Justice League. These androids, collectively known as Task Force VII, have set out to steal the powers of the world’s most famous superheroes, seemingly permanently. The majority of the world’s greatest heroes are already caught in Waller’s clutches, while the rest have been pushed into the shadows.

Despite the overwhelming threat posed by Task Force VII and the like, they are only a portion of Waller’s overall resource pool. In addition to these special androids, Waller has also recruited the incredibly powerful Brainiac Queen, whose programming has implanted false memories of her growing up in a loving home under Waller’s care. In return, the Brainiac Queen has given Waller a way to infect other heroes, such as the young Superman Jon Kent, with her influence, turning him into another of her superpowered agents.
