Beyoncé fans are amazed as young Blue Ivy is out with friends in a strapless top

Blue Ivy Carter, one of hip-hop’s most famous nepo kids, grew up right in front of her parents and fans and the Beyhive collective considers her their niece.

And as with any niece you haven’t seen in a long time, many are speechless at how mature and beautiful the eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z is.

Paparazzi caught a glimpse of Blue Ivy walking down the street in Beverly Hills with her friends in a full denim outfit. The 12-year-old Grammy winner wore denim cargo pants and a jacket with a simple white silk scarf on top, showing off her bare collarbone area and shoulders. On her feet, she wore a pair of Air Jordan 1 Retro High in university blue, black and white.

Around her neck she wore a gold chain that matched her long brown locks. Her face was obscured by sunglasses, but there was no doubt that she was the daughter of black music greats Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

It didn’t take long for social media to flood with reactions. The crush immediately took to the X platform and said, “Excuse me Blue Ivy??!!!” and called her “her mom’s twin sister.”

Another person gasped, “This is literally insane to me, like she’s an ADULT.”

However, not everyone was happy with the attention Blue Ivy received.

Many continued, “She’s not grown up yet. She’s a CHILD. Can we please not start this mess?” while others couldn’t help but notice how big she has become.

One person said: “I hate that she can’t even chill with her friends in peace without being photographed.”

The paparazzi photographing the young star were also a hot topic. One fan shouted in capital letters: “Blue Ive Carter is 12 years old. Paparazzi should not be following a child with his little friends, taking photos of these children and spreading images of them on the Internet for profit. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”

The GossipTwins posted pictures of the dancer featured in “Renaissance World” on Instagram, where many of her 131,000 followers shared their thoughts on how tall she has become.

One person said: “How old is she again, oh my god she looks 16.”

“She looks just like her mama,” read another comment. Another added, “Mini Beyoncé BLU IVY looks so much like her mama.” Someone else called her “Lil Yonce.”

Some said she looked like her rapper father, writing, “Looks like Jay Z” and “She looks like daddy! She’s awesome!”

Some fans who chimed in claimed that she preferred Ashantia contemporary of her mother.

As Blue Ivy grows up before our eyes, it’s clear that she’s not just riding on her parents’ laurels. She’s creating her own legacy.

Blue won her first Grammy Award in 2021 for her performance in the music video for her mother’s song “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift.

In her latest project, she returns to the spotlight by lending her voice to the character Kiara in “Mufasa: The Lion King,” along with her mother reprising her role as Nala from the 2019 live-action film “The Lion King.”

Director Barry Jenkins, who is directing the film, recently spoke about why he cast Blue Ivy in the role, stressing that her selection was based on her talent and not her famous mother.

“It had nothing to do with mom and dad. She was the right young woman for the job,” Jenkins told ET. He added, “Some of the things she does in this movie are really emotional. She’s an actress.”

Beyond her work in film, the young woman proves to be a versatile talent, having received her first Grammy Award in 2021 at the age of 9.

Her aunt Solange even boasted during the tour, writing, “Only address me as Blue’s aunt” over a video clip of Blue dancing on stage to her mother’s 2019 single “BLACK PARADE.”

According to her grandmother, Tina Knowles, Blue is a true Renaissance girl who can do almost anything and may even be able to launch a career like her mother, who also began at around age 7.

In an interview with E! News, Knowles revealed: “She’s self-taught and sounds like a concert pianist. She paints, she draws, she writes poetry. She’s just an artistic soul.”

The proud grandmother expressed her pride at the time, adding: “I’m really, really proud of her. I can’t wait for the world to really know.”

Regarding Blue’s siblings, Tina added, “Rumi is a little star by nature,” while boasting about Sir’s love of electronics and books.

If anyone knows how to make a star out of a kid, it’s Knowles, who inspired her daughter and her friends to form Destiny’s Child. Her father may know something, too. He spearheaded Willow Smith’s career when she was 10, with the hit “Whip My Hair.”
