The artists will be in Los Angeles in a mix of recorded and live performances, a musical send-off for the LA 2028 Olympic Games. A cornerstone of West Coast rap, Snoop Dogg has been a prominent figure throughout the Paris Games. From his viral commentary for NBC to his role as the U.S. Olympic torchbearer, Snoop has brought his charisma to the world stage and established himself as something of an unofficial ambassador for the country.

Snoop, whose career has spanned three decades, has been a regular on the Billboard Hot 100, including with his debut single “Who Am I (What’s My Name?)” and collaborations like “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” In addition to his music career, Snoop has dabbled in acting, launched a successful line of cannabis products, and even hosted a cooking show with Martha Stewart.

The musical trio is completed by local heroes Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band, founded in Los Angeles in 1983, has been a driving force in the city’s music scene for decades.

The band has a long history of success on the Billboard Charts, with albums like Blood Sugar Sex Magic And calibration dominate the Billboard 200. Their hit singles “Under the Bridge” and “Scar Tissue” are also perennial favorites on the Billboard Hot 100.

But the music is not the only attraction. Hollywood’s Tom Cruise is said to be performing a stunt that is in no way inferior to his most famous film scenes, according to TMZ.

According to reports, Cruise will abseil from the roof of the Stade de France with the Olympic flag in hand, followed by a recorded segment showing him skydiving onto the iconic Hollywood sign.
