Blake Lively is called a ‘mean girl’ for refusing to wear a fan gift

Blake Lively is facing renewed criticism online for responding to a gift from a reporter/fan… and some are reinforcing the theory that she is not as nice as she seems.

The video was shot at the London premiere of It Ends With Us – the film that sparked all the fuss about Blake’s attitude – and when she arrives, the reporter gives her a friendship bracelet similar to the ones her best friend made popular. Taylor Swift.

Blake politely thanks her for the gift, but then gives it to an assistant and says she’ll wear it later… because it doesn’t match her outfit.

Fans call Blake’s behavior cold at best and point to her co-star Isabela Ferrer happily strapped on a fan-made bracelet. Part of the criticism she receives is the comparison of BL to Regina George, the villain from Mean Girls.

Others accused Blake of lying because the bracelet had pink and white pearls… which matched her dress perfectly.

Well, there are still some reasonable people…who see the exchange as much ado about nothing. Not to mention, Blake probably has hundreds of friendship bracelets at home…since he’s been on the “Eras” tour multiple times.

So, maybe you can’t criticize her for not wearing it right away one Bracelet this one Time.

Nevertheless, it has been a difficult few weeks for Blake. The internet has exploded with discussion about her argument with the director and co-star of “It Ends With Us.” Justin Baldoni.
