Blake Lively decided not to wear a friendship bracelet that she had received as a gift from a fan at her controversial press conference for “It Ends With Us”.
At the British screening of the film on August 8, the 36-year-old “Gossip Girl” star decided not to wear the piece of jewelry because it did not match her outfit.
A TikTok shared via AlloCiné showed the brief encounter between Lively and the supporter.
“Oh my god, thank you so much,” a seemingly grateful Blake said as she accepted the gift, before adding, “I’m going to (put it away) because it doesn’t match my outfit, but I’ll wear it later.”
The mother of four also told the fan that the gesture was “so sweet.”

Lively, who is married to Ryan Reynolds, wore a glamorous silver strapless dress covered in intricate, colorful floral embellishments.
The star, who is known for not working with stylists, added a coral pink feather boa and wrapped it around her arms.
Her co-actress Isabela Ferrer, who plays the younger version of her character Lily Bloom, also received a bracelet from the fan.
In stark contrast to Blake’s reaction, Ferrer immediately placed the piece around her wrist.
“Thank you! Oh my God, I’m going to wear it. Thank you so much!” the younger actress responded when she was handed the bracelet.
Rumor has it that Lively is currently in a feud with her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
She was also sharply criticized online for some press interviews – including an “uncomfortable” resurfaced clip from 2016 that made the journalist want to “quit her job.”
A romantic drama based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, “It Ends With Us” follows Lily as she becomes embroiled in an abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).

However, the film was overshadowed by rumors of tension on the set, a feud between Lively and Baldoni, and an awkward press tour.
Lively and Baldoni avoided each other at the film’s New York premiere and several reports emerged portraying both stars in a negative light.
Even Bethenny Frankel joined in the discussion, explaining that Blake’s simultaneous promotion of the film and her ventures into the hair care and cocktail business had upset her fans.
“What’s happening here is that it’s a very sensitive subject matter – the basis of this film – and you’re promoting a cocktail brand and a hair care product and talking so much in a light-hearted way about a subject that is not a light-hearted subject for most people, but particularly women… They’re all a very savvy audience, and that just doesn’t go over well. That’s what I think is going on,” the former Real Housewives of New York City star surmised.
