Blue Mountain Resorts hosts first-ever Pierogies and Pints ​​Festival

PALMERTON – Blue Mountain Resort, nestled in the scenic foothills of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, is pleased to invite mountain-loving guests to its inaugural Pierogies and Pints ​​Festival on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25.

The food and drink festival runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day and offers a whole weekend of fun. The festival offers family and friends delicious savory and sweet pierogi samples, craft pints and other beverages to quench their thirst in the beer garden, live music, arts and crafts booths, and plenty of neighborly fun for all!

Pierogies and Pints ​​is available in the Valley section of Blue Mountain – just behind the Adventure Center. The star pierogies – savory, filled dumplings prepared by various vendors – are judged in a contest by festival-goers, with favorites chosen in the Traditional, Dessert and Creative categories.

On Saturday, Toolshed Jack, the five-piece high-energy rock party band from Pennsylvania, will play popular pop songs from all eras. Live music for Sunday’s entertainment to be announced.

General admission tickets are $12 each. Dough Dabbler tickets are $20 each and include six pierogi samples and admission. Pierogi Pro tickets are $39 per ticket and include eight pierogi samples, a mug and the first beer or soft drink, and admission.

On festival days (Saturday and Sunday) there will also be exciting panoramic lift rides to Blue Mountain from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Tickets must be purchased separately at skibluemt.com/lift-rides.

To make this summer weekend absolutely unforgettable, guests can either spend the night glamping in one of the Blue Mountains’ unique locations or pitch a tent and enjoy the resort’s scenic campground. Further camping information is available online.
