LINCOLN, NE (Dakota News Now) – The Sioux Falls Canaries hit four home runs Saturday to end a five-game losing streak with an 8-7 win in Lincoln.

Lincoln tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the second half.

Jordan Barth put Sioux Falls back in the lead with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, but the Saltdogs tied the game with a single in the second. Rehwaldt broke the tie with a double in the sixth inning, but Lincoln answered again, tying the game with an RBI single in the home stretch.

The score remained 5-5 until Sioux Falls scored three runs in the eighth inning. Hunter Clanin gave the Birds the lead for good with a two-run home run and Ulrich followed with an RBI single.

The Saltdogs scored twice in the ninth inning, but had the tying point at third base after a triple with two outs, but a pike catch by Mount in shallow center field ended the game.
