When Peter Pan’s Flight closed for renovations on July 8, it looked like the attraction would remain closed to the public for several months. Then it was announced that the attraction would reopen on August 21. However, guests visiting Magic Kingdom this weekend are in for a surprise.

When we checked out the attraction’s official website, we noticed that the rides now display operating hours for Friday, August 16, 2024. This means that guests visiting the Magic Kingdom tomorrow will be able to enjoy the newly renovated attraction. The ride will also be open during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Currently, we do not know what updates the attraction has undergone. There have been rumors that the story would receive culturally sensitive updates. In 2022, the “Never Land Tribe” was added to the mural outside the attraction, replacing references to an “Indian Camp.”

Below you can check out our 4K POV view of the attraction as it looked before the current renovation.
