Brittany Mahomes wants to send another strong message to her critics.
After facing backlash online for allegedly liking a post by the former president Donald TrumpMahomes, 28, decided to share a quote from the religious author Shane Pruitt.
“Contrary to the tone of the world today… you can disagree with someone and still love them,” read the post, which appeared on her Instagram story on Monday, August 26. “You can disagree and still be kind.”
Mahomes wrote about the quote: “Read that again.”
The post comes days after the Kansas City Current co-owner shared another cryptic quote with her 2 million followers on Instagram.
“To be a hater as an adult, you must have deep-rooted childhood issues that you refuse to heal,” read the quote, which appeared on her Instagram story on August 24. “There is no reason why your brain is fully developed and you hate when others are doing well.”
Mahomes wrote about the message: “I mean, honestly.”
Although she did not specify what her messages were referring to, Mahomes recently faced backlash on social media after she allegedly liked an Instagram post from the 78-year-old Trump on August 13. Multiple accounts on X have shared screenshots and a recorded video of Mahomes’ Instagram handle appearing beneath Trump’s post.
However, the social media chat isn’t stopping Mahomes from enjoying the last weeks of summer with her family.

While the details of the celebration remained top secret, additional photos revealed that Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds were also invited.
The summer end party takes place less than two weeks before the official start of the Kansas City Chiefs’ new NFL season.
On September 5, the reigning Super Bowl champions will take part in the NFL Kickoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
