China’s unmanned transport aircraft completes first test flight in Sichuan

The large twin-engine unmanned transport aircraft developed in China with a payload capacity of two tons successfully completed its first test flight on Sunday morning at Lantian Airport in the city of Zigong in the southwestern province of Sichuan.

The first test flight lasted about 20 minutes, with all systems functioning normally.

With a wingspan of 16.1 meters, a height of 4.6 meters, a cargo hold of 12 cubic meters and a payload capacity of two tons, the aircraft is the largest domestically developed unmanned transport aircraft tailored to market demand in China.

In addition, the aircraft is characterized by easy loading and unloading as well as high reliability, safety and intelligence, which in turn facilitates the development of new scenarios in air cargo transport and the creation of new business forms, such as economical smart logistics at low altitude.

Hukou Waterfall, the largest waterfall on China’s Yellow River, impresses visitors in early autumn with its spectacular view: it stretches for hundreds of meters and shows the pure power of nature.

In recent days, the water volume of Hukou Waterfall has increased to over 1,500 cubic meters per second. This increase is due to recent rainfall in the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River during China’s flood season, as well as adjustments to the discharge volumes of reservoirs on the Yellow River – China’s second longest river after the Yangtze.

Located on the border between northern China’s Shanxi Province and northwest China’s Shaanxi Province in a narrow, steep gorge, the waterfall is known for its high water velocity, which creates thunderous sounds.
