Chris Hemsworth can add another skill to his resume.
The “Avengers” star showcased his newly learned drumming talent at an Ed Sheeran concert.
Sheeran and Hemsworth shared the video on their social media as a preview of the second season of Hemsworth’s National Geographic series “Limitless with Chris Hemsworth.”
In the clip, Sheeran says: “Basically what happened is this: Chris sent me an email last December saying he was making a documentary about cognitive health and the benefits of learning an instrument. He came to visit me and has been learning drums ever since.”

The “Shape of You” singer added that Hemsworth would play in front of 70,000 people, but did not specify the date or location of the concert.
“I’ve thought about it a lot,” said the 41-year-old. “It will be nice to put this behind me.”

The second season of “Limitless with Chris Hemsworth” will premiere on Disney+ in 2025.
During the first season, the actor discovered that he was at increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease after a series of blood tests conducted by Dr. Peter Attia.
“We have every blood test you can get,” Attia told Hemsworth. “And you have two copies of APOE4. One set from your mother and one set from your father.”
Hemsworth’s grandfather died of Alzheimer’s after filming the episode, and as he recently explained in an interview with Vanity Fair, his father is showing early signs of the disease.

“I know that my father is in the process of accepting that he is no longer the big, strong man who knows all the answers and who everyone follows,” he says.
The “Thor” star took a break from acting shortly after the episode made headlines, leading to rumors that he was ending his career because of the disease or that he had already developed symptoms.
“It really upset me because I felt like I had made myself vulnerable by sharing something personal,” he admitted to Vanity Fair in May.
“No matter how many times I said, ‘This is not a death sentence,’ the story always became that I was suffering from dementia, rethinking my life, retiring, and so on.”

Hemsworth lives near his parents in Australia with his wife Elsa Pataky and their three children, daughter India and twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
And although he’s not in Hollywood, he’s still involved in film production. But he wonders how much longer he’ll be able to do that.
“I think for the first time in my career I started thinking, ‘S—, how many years do I have left to do this?'” he said. “I went through a sort of list of movies with my producing partner yesterday, sort of a wish list, and then I thought, ‘Well, that’s six movies. That could happen in the next decade. That could be it.’ Who knows where I’ll be then?”
