Duck Slokas
On August 27, 2024, SIA Merko Būve, part of AS Merko Ehitus Group, and SIA Duck Slokas signed a design-and-build construction contract for the student hotel “Duck Republik” in Rīga, Slokas iela 51.
The contract includes the design and construction of a three-storey building with an additional basement, its land and infrastructure. The hotel with a gross area of 7,680 m² will have 210 fully furnished rooms for 249 students, common areas with a recreation room and a gym.
The contract value is around 12.3 million euros plus VAT. Completion of construction work is scheduled for May 2026.
