The three-day Colorado Springs Comic Con attracted pop culture fans of all ages to the Broadmoor World Arena, ready to buy toys, comics and clothing, meet artists and actors, and even listen to panel discussions.
And the celebrity guests weren’t the only ones willing to pose for photos with their fans. Cosplayers, both amateur and professional, came in homemade outfits that took anywhere from hours, weeks, or even a year to make.
Here are some of the cosplayers we met along the way, as well as a dog.

She said the costume took a few days to make and the hardest part was sewing on each flower piece. She said it took her six or seven hours to make the costume and “it was a lot of fun.” Her costume, which consists of over 200 butterflies, was put on by three people in the parking lot before they went inside.
