Cult band announces world tour 15 years after split

Oasis is back after 15 years.

The reunion was announced on social media early Tuesday.

“This is it, this is happening,” Oasis wrote under the post, which was also shared by the accounts of band members and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.

The British group also shared the news in a press release, revealing plans to perform in the UK and Ireland as part of the national leg of the Oasis Live ’25 world tour. In the summer of 2025, Oasis will tour Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

“Their only European performances next year will be one of the biggest live moments and most coveted tickets of the decade,” the band said in the press release.

Oasis also announced that “plans are underway” to take the tour “to other continents outside of Europe” in 2025.

Over the weekend, Liam Gallagher took to X (formerly Twitter) to tease the tour, writing: “I’ve never liked the word FORMER,” sending fans into a frenzy after reports emerged that the Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova rockers would reunite for a series of shows next year.

The band’s outspoken lead singer also responded to a user under a post from The Times and The Sunday Times, which reported that Liam and his brother Noel Gallagher (the band’s lead guitarist and songwriter) had put aside their widely publicized differences to play a series of concerts in the UK in 2025. “See you in the front…” Gallagher posted.
