In its 2024 fall foliage guide, the Farmer’s Almanac ranks the park 13th on its list of the best places to see fall foliage in the United States. The Farmer’s Almanac doesn’t give reasons for its ranking, but since CVNP covers 33,000 acres, according to the U.S. Geological Survey — and much of it is forested — there’s plenty of foliage to see. Plus, the park has places like The Ledges where visitors can look over the forest canopy.
