Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s sister offers fans a unique opportunity before the big event

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is not only a living legend on the racetrack, but also a philanthropist. Through his Dale Jr. Foundationhe has supported meaningful initiatives that have made a tremendous impact on the community. The foundation supports charities dedicated to educating children and empowering youth and has managed to change hundreds of lives. To support these organizations, the Dale Jr. Foundation organizes fundraisers, and a major event in its calendar is “Driven to give.”

The annual Driven to Give fundraiser is now in its 14th year and raises money for the various organizations that the Dale Jr. Foundation believes in. To make this event even more eventful this year, Vice President the Foundation and Junior’s sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, has come up with a unique opportunity for Dale Jr. fans and NASCAR fanatics in general.

What’s different about Driven to Give this year?

Kelley Earnhardt Miller is a staunch supporter of the Foundation. She has been part of the project since its inception. The Foundation’s most important event is just a few weeks away. Kelley has taken note of this and announced the details of a unique opportunity for fans to attend the event at Whiskey River this year.

In a video statement posted on her official X account, Kelley said: “Hey guys, it’s Kelly Earnhardt-Miller here, and Driven to Give is coming up. It’s the Dale Jr. Foundation’s marquee event that happens every year, and this year RTIC wants to invite you and a guest to attend. It’s my favorite event and gives me all the emotions. Be sure to register using the link on your screen, and we can’t wait to see you at our Driven To Give event in Whiskey River this year.”

The Marquee event is scheduled to take place on September 24. As every year, the event will take place at Dale and Amy Earnhardt’s Old Town ‘Whisky River’ on a 200-acre property in Cleveland, North Carolina (State).

What is more special? This year’s Driven to Give features a performance by Chris JansonThe ACM award winner’s performance will be the focus of attention for attendees. The concert will be preceded by a live auction and dinner. The event aims to break the previous record for donations, which was an incredible $440,000 last year.

This is certainly the most regular event that the Dale Jr. Foundation organizes to raise valuable funds. But it is not the only initiative that the foundation has in its philanthropic spectrum of activities. The Earnhardt siblings organize a number of fundraisers, and numerous organizations depend on them.

Driven to Give is undoubtedly an important event for the Dale Jr. Foundation. But that’s not all. The Dale Jr. Foundation raised a whopping $1.3 million last year alone through its creative fundraising efforts.

One of the most significant events in 2023 was the annual racing glove auction. The auction included the skeleton gloves inspired by Dale Earnhardt Jr., worn by 63 NASCAR Cup and Xfinity drivers to raise funds for the Dale and Amy Earnhardt (Junior’s wife) Fund at Nationwide Children Hospital.

A bike ride by Dale Earnhardt Jr. through the North Carolina Wilkesboro Racetrack and Martinsville Speedway raised an impressive $300,000.
