Daredevil: Born Again trailer reveals Bullseye’s fate, White Tiger and more – Comic book adaptations and superhero movie news

At D23 2024, Marvel Studios presented Daredevil: Rebornwhen revealing the release window and trailer, the returning cast members were revealed. The footage was exclusive to those in attendance. But the description found its way online, revealing several Marvel characters. Here’s the description, which confirms the involvement of other heroes and villains besides Frank Castle.

The trailer for D23’s Daredevil: Born Again continues the tone of the first three seasons, which originally appeared on Netflix. Gone are the days when the series was turned into a courtroom drama.

Instead, it brings back the tone and cast of the first three seasons, including Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye as Wilson Bethel, Frank Castle as Jon Bernthal, Kingpin as Vincent D’Onofrio, Karen Page as Deborah Ann Woll and Foggy Nelson as Elden Henson, and Matt Murdock as Charlie Cox.

The D23 trailer shows Matt Murdock’s wardrobe of Daredevil outfits. It shows a heated confrontation between him and Castle, as well as another scene where Murdock warns Wilson Fisk. It also hints at the fate of Poindexter, who was seen handcuffed in an orange prison outfit and surrounded by guards.

The trailer doesn’t confirm whether the events of Born Again will pick up where Daredevil season 3 left off. But Poindexter’s prison incarceration suggests so. He’ll also be wearing a version of the Bullseye suit, which was previously spotted in spoiler-filled set photos and videos.

The D23 Daredevil footage showed very little of Karen and Foggy. But it did confirm the presence of two new Marvel characters making their MCU debut. The first was White Tiger, previously spotted in set videos, while the second is fan-favorite villain Muse, who is also reportedly set to star in the Disney+ show.

The Hector Ayala version of White Tiger, played by Kamar de los Reyes, appeared in costume. Muse was initially teased with blood paint before also appearing in a comic-book-like look. Another surprising reveal from the Daredevil: Born Again trailer was the return of Kamala Khan’s father Yusuf Khan, which could eventually give viewers hope for a cameo from Ms. Marvel in the show.

The series will make its official debut on Disney+ sometime in March 2025.
