Mulroney’s new pup has already become a little star after he shared an adorable slideshow of pictures of his new Chihuahua mix named Sweetie. As expected, the little pup is absolutely adorable and has big, brown eyes that could capture any heart.
“Woof! She did it again – @shesingshesung saved another one,” Mulroney captioned the sweet slideshow of animal photos. “Meet Sweetie aka Swee’ Pea ❤️🐶.”
While everyone appreciates a dog photo, Mulroney delivered the “ooh” factor in abundance. In one photo, Mulroney poses with little Sweetie in his arms; in another, Mulroney is all smiles as he takes Sweetie for a walk. Of course, it is his wife, Italian singer-songwriter Prima Apollinaare (formerly Tharita Cesaroni), who brought Mulroney together with his beloved furry friend. Mulroney and Apollinaare have been married for more than a decade. They began dating in 2008 and welcomed their eldest daughter, Mabel Ray Mulroney, that same year. Later in 2008, Mulroney and Apollinaare tied the knot. The couple welcomed their second daughter, Sally Mulroney, in 2009. Mulroney also has a son, Clyde Keener Mulroney, from his previous marriage to actress Catherine Keener.
Mulroney and Apollinaare are both avid music lovers. Fun fact for chi-hards: Mulroney is an accomplished cellist who has performed on numerous film soundtracks. The man knows how to build tension both on screen and in his personal life. Apollinaire is a passionate singer who has been releasing music since 2017 with her debut single “Stand Up for Love”.
