The release of Diablo4Season 5 of brought a ton of new content and reworked items. Although shorter than the average season, Season of Infernal Hordes is designed to prepare players for the new story content in Vessel of Hatred. The means to do this is the new game mode that focuses on fighting back the hordes of Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred. The new game mode is designed to make up for the lack of quests in Season 4, which was the only downside to the season, and was widely praised by players.

The reason for temporarily disabling the item’s unique power was reports of players making massive experience gains after a few encounters. The item has been re-released in Diablo4Season 5 of can still be found and technically even equipped for future uses. But players cannot use its unique power to create a Shadow Totem, which redirects damage taken to enemies surrounding it.

Players have reported experience gains of up to 30 levels after a single encounter, with many able to Diablo4 Paragon Board on characters whose level was in the mid-20s just seconds before. The issue was hotly debated among fans as the encounters and regions had no common connection between them, despite players attempting to reproduce and exploit the bug. The only clue to the massive experience gain case was that it happened to rogues, narrowing down suspicions to a rogue item.

It took the developers just a few hours after the first wave of reports to identify the cause of the problem and start working on a solution. The current issue with item interaction, as well as the recent looting of Diablo4Previously shrouded in mystery, the Ring of Calamity has shifted fans’ focus to items at the start of Season 5. This shift contrasts with the season’s main attraction, the activities in the Realm of Hate and the new currency called Burning Aether that players can earn there.
