Donald Trump Project 2025: Trump took private flight with Project 2025 director in 2022, reveals new photo

Donald Trump has categorically denied having anything to do with the controversial Project 2025, but the controversy is far from over as a photo has surfaced of Trump with Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation. Trump reportedly took a previously unreported 45-minute private flight with Kevin Roberts. The two flew together to a Heritage conference where Trump delivered a keynote speech, the Washington Post reported.
The flight was from Trump’s home in Palm Beach to the foundation’s annual conference on Amelia Island. Heritage chartered the plane because Trump’s jet was undergoing an overhaul at the time, the report said.
This revelation stands in stark contrast to Trump’s repeated claims that he had no idea what Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation were. “I have no idea who is responsible for this,” he wrote in a social media post in July.
Roberts had previously claimed that he had personally spoken to Trump about Project 2025, which the Trump campaign team denied.

Project 2025 is apparently a blueprint for the second Trump administration that includes some controversial “abysmal” proposals. The 900-page strategy book envisions a major overhaul of the federal government. Two former Trump administration officials, Paul Dans and Spencer Chretien, led Project 2025. On July 30, Dans resigned from his post and also left the Heritage Foundation.
As Republicans distance themselves from Project 2025, Kevin Roberts has delayed the release of his book, which has a foreword written by Trump’s vice presidential candidate JD Vance. The book, “Dawn’s Early Light,” was originally scheduled to be released in September, but has now been pushed back to November. The title of the book has been changed, as previous entries suggest that the subtitle was originally intended to be “Burning Down Washington to Save America.”
Trump’s campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt previously said that Project 2025 would never be an accurate reflection of Trump’s policies. “As President Trump himself and our campaign leadership have repeatedly stated, President Trump’s 20 promises to the forgotten men and women and the (Republican Party’s) platform are the only policies that President Trump supports for a second term,” the campaign team said.
