The fourth and final Grand Slam tournament on the tennis calendar, the US Open, begins with the main draw on Monday, August 26. Defending champion Coco Gauff is the No. 3 seed in the tournament, with French Open winner Iga Swiatek and Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka at the top of the list.
Gauff will face Varvara Gracheva, whose best performance at a Grand Slam tournament, including the US Open, was a third-round appearance. Gauff is joined by former champions Iga Swiatek, Bianca Andreescu, Emma Raducanu and Naomi Osaka, as well as runners-up Madison Keys, Victoria Azarenka and Aryna Sabalenka, who will also be looking for a shot at the title. Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova will not be playing in this edition of the tournament.
