Ethernity secures 0,000 product improvement contract

Business with semiconductor technology for data processing Ethernity networks has received a product improvement contract valued at $200,000 from a leading U.S. broadband systems provider.

Ethernity said Tuesday that the order is for the customer’s hardened Remote PON OLT platform, with the enhancements based on existing ENET data processing technology and will be integrated into the customer’s existing product during the second half of 2024.

The AIM-listed group said the order represents an evolution of its relationship with the customer following the successful launch of its Remote 10G OLT product. The customer first approached Ethernity in 2018.

Managing Director David Levi said: “Over the past few months, the company has provided intensive support to the customer and once again proved that we are a trusted partner. We are delighted to receive this new product enhancement contract, which will help maintain the customer’s leading position in the remote 10G OLT market and win new business.”

“This order confirms that our silicon-optimized data processing technology offers tremendous added value to the market and enables the customer’s product to be clearly differentiated.”

At 10:25am BST, Ethernity shares were up 9.09% at 0.60p.
