Everything you need to know about Comic Con Wales this weekend, from guests to tickets

“Lord of the Rings” star Sean Astin and “Supernatural” actor Jensen Ackles will headline Comic Con Wales in Newport this weekend.

The couple will lead an all-star lineup at the event, which will also include stars such as “Torchwood” and “Doctor Who” John Barrowman, Superman himself Brandon Routh and several actors from the hit series “The Walking Dead”.

Comic Con Wales takes place on Saturday and Sunday (10th and 11th August) at the ICC Wales in Newport.

For a set fee (which can be found on the Comic-Con website), there is the opportunity to take photos and sign autographs with each guest.

Comic Con Tickets

The weekend and Saturday tickets for Comic Con Wales are already sold out.

However, tickets are still available for Sunday, priced between £0 and £29.70.

You can also buy tickets to the afterparty, which will be held at a secret location, for £11.

When is Comic Con 2024?

Comic Con Wales takes place at the ICC Wales in Newport (NP18 1HQ) and lasts two days – Saturday (10th August) and Sunday (11th August).

The event lasts from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

Like every other convention, Comic Con Wales will once again host its Cosplay Championship and a more casual Cosplay Masquerade Ball event.
