Apple’s alleged introduction of a new color option for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Mac lineup has drawn strong criticism and backlash from fans. The alleged shade “Desert Titanium”, a bronze-brown that personally looks like a caramel shade to me, is set to replace Blue Titanium as the fourth color available for the iPhone 16 Pro.
The Desert Titanium variant is more like dark gold than the previously released rose gold. Majin Bu described it as “a kind of dark gold, similar to the old purple color, relatively subtle and deep.”
The new color was called “earwax gold” and “shitty brown” from disappointed consumers, according to the New York Post. Many expressed their dissatisfaction on social media platforms. People hope that the leaked images do not represent the final product.
Despite the controversial color choice, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have other “new features,” such as larger screens, better camera capabilities, Wi-Fi 7, fast charging, and new processor chips.
Apple also plans to release “Apple Intelligence” based on OpenAI to improve features such as Siri 2.0 and messaging.
