Fitness guru Jillian Michaels commented on the controversy that rocked women’s boxing at the Paris Olympics surrounding two fighters who were previously suspected of having XY chromosomes.
Appearing on OutKick’s “Tomi Lahren is Fearless,” Michaels said there was a simple solution to end the controversy surrounding Algeria’s Imane Khelif and Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting.

“Let’s leave out the transgender component, because these two athletes are not transgender, they say they are female. There are two independent tests done by two labs that are not affiliated with the International Boxing Association that found a Y chromosome. That is male,” Michaels told Lahren.
“So why didn’t they challenge those results? Twice! A simple cheek swab would solve the problem and answer the question. They didn’t challenge it, and in fact Imane started the competition and withdrew. … Now at the Olympics, it’s like they’re saying, ‘Well, the passport says they’re female, and they were able to compete before.’
“So how about this? How about you do a cheek swab? Easy, and then you negate the entire conversation.”
Jake Paul is fed up with US boxing’s shortcomings at the Paris Olympics and is determined to fight again in 2028
The International Boxing Federation disqualified both fighters from the 2023 World Championships and the issue resurfaced before and during the Summer Games. Both Khelif and Lin won gold in their divisions and received support from the International Olympic Committee, which defended their eligibility.
French prosecutors have launched an investigation into alleged online harassment of Khelif after the boxer’s lawyer, Nabil Boubi, filed a complaint last week with a special unit of the Paris prosecutor’s office that combats hate speech on the internet.

Khelif has become the target of a “misogynistic, racist and sexist campaign,” Boudi said.
