Flame Con will be fun again for comic fans

Flame Con will take place on Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th at the Sheraton Times Square in Midtown Manhattan. On Saturday the convention will take place from 12pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. This year marks the tenth year that Flame Con has thrilled its fans.

Flame Con is the world’s largest queer comics convention, featuring a two-day comics, arts and entertainment expo featuring artists and special guests from all corners of the LGBTQ fandom. There are in-depth discussions, exclusive performances, film screenings, cosplay, vendors, video games, panels and more. Come in cosplay if you feel called to do so.

Geeks of all kinds are invited to attend and celebrate the diversity and creativity of the queer geek scene and the LGBTQ community’s contributions to pop culture. Each year, Flame Con tries to improve upon previous years, always striving to be as welcoming and accessible as possible to as many people as possible, offering more guests, more art, and more celebration for queer geeks everywhere.

Two full days of panels are packed with knowledge, community and fun.
