Technical glitch in flight forces passengers to wait four hours

Jaipur: Passengers on Jaipur International Airport had to wait for nearly four hours on Sunday morning after a flight from Jaipur to Bhopal was delayed due to technical issues. The flight, which was scheduled to depart at 9:45 am, was unable to take off and passengers were rebooked on another flight at around 1 pm. Angry over the delay, passengers protested against the airline at the airport.
“This morning, I was in the plane from Jaipur to Bhopal. As soon as the plane took off from the runway, we found that one of the fans of the plane was not working. When the passengers in the plane came to know about it, they all got scared and started screaming. Soon after, the pilot informed all of us about it and got us safely off the plane. Many passengers got scared and did not want to board that plane. Some started booking flights for the next day. Others booked taxis and flew to Bhopal,” a passenger told the media on Sunday.
After the passengers disembarked, the airline assured them that an alternative flight would be arranged, but it took over three hours. The alternative flight arrived in Bhopal at 2:10 p.m., over two hours after the scheduled arrival time.
