Flying Blue and Uber announce partnership

Starting today, Uber is Flying Blue’s official ridesharing partner. Members who link their account in the Uber app can now earn one mile for every euro they spend on Uber rides. For Uber customers who make four or more rides per month, the miles increase to two miles per euro.

The partnership is available to both residents and visitors, who can connect their Flying Blue account to the Uber app and book rides in any city in France and the Netherlands.

This new partnership adds to Flying Blue’s extensive list of member benefits, including the ability to earn and redeem miles with over 40 airlines and over 100 retail partners.

With Flying Blue Miles you can purchase alternative aviation fuel (SAF), reserve or upgrade flights, book hotel rooms, shop at participating brands or donate to charities.

The Air France-KLM Group is one of the leading airlines in Europe and has more than 24 million Flying Blue members who can benefit from the collaboration with Uber.

Benjamin Lipsey, SVP Customer Loyalty and President of Flying Blue at Air France and KLM, said: “We are delighted to partner with Uber and offer our members additional ways to earn miles in their everyday lives.”

“At Flying Blue, our goal is to offer tangible benefits that fit the lifestyles of our 24 million members worldwide.

“With Uber as our exclusive ridesharing partner, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting Air France and KLM customers before, during and after their journey with us.”

Anabel Diaz, Vice President of Uber Mobility EMEA, said: “We are excited to help our customers earn Flying Blue miles on their Uber rides.

“Whether you live here and commute to work or are visiting from abroad, every Uber ride takes you to a slightly more exotic location with Air France and KLM.”
