We are celebrating the 60th birthday of the Mustang. ford has introduced a limited edition package that pays homage to the 1967 color scheme with its signature Brittany Blue shade.

In April, the veil was lifted to honor the pony car’s significant achievement.

Initially it was limited to Race Red, Vapour Blue and Wimbledon White.

As a tribute to the model year, only 1,965 vehicles will be produced.

Customers could reserve the color on Ford’s website between August 16 and 19.

Email notifications must be sent by August 21st. Once you receive your allocation, you will have seven days to select a retailer.

This means that the deadline to select a dealer is tomorrow, August 27th.

Only Fastback and Convertible body styles are offered for this model. It also features a serial number badge on the instrument panel and unique 60th anniversary badges on the sides and trunk lid.

The Mustang 60th Anniversary Package features striking 20-inch alloy wheels in Dark Gravity Gray on the outside and a modern grille that pays homage to the 1964 model.

For the car’s side graphics, reminiscent of the original sill stripes, you can choose between Iconic Silver and Vermillion Red.

According to Hindustan Times, this package includes Brembo brakes, an Active Valve Performance exhaust, a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle and the 401A package, among others. It is only available on the fastback body style with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The vehicle interior features a B&O sound system with 12 speakers and synthetic leather in space gray.

Ford has announced that it has given the vehicle an additional option for a digital instrument cluster, which has ice blue dials at night and white dials during the day, inspired by the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. All 2024 Mustang owners with automatic software updates enabled will be able to download the upgrade starting August 17, 2024.

The Mustang’s 5.0-liter V8 engine, used in the most expensive models, produces 562 Nm of torque and 480 hp.

The V8 can be combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, Ford has installed a dual-screen display that includes the 13.2-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as the 12.4-inch instrument cluster.

In addition, the 2025 Mustang includes lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.

The Brittany Blue 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary Package is priced at $65,245 (Rs 54.65 lakh).
