PARSONS – The Tucker Community Foundation is proud to announce the creation of the Kelley Family Scholarship Fund. The new Kelley Family Scholarship will be used to provide a scholarship to a deserving graduate of Phillip Barbour High School with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher who is pursuing a four-year degree in the fields of engineering, education or dental hygiene.

The Kelley Family Scholarship was established with the generous donation and support of Jeff and Nancy Kelley. The Kelley family established this scholarship fund to honor Jeffrey’s parents Paul and Jean Kelley, his wife Nancy Kelley, and his three daughters Amber, Amada and Ashley. All members of the Kelley family attended Barbour County schools and are honored to help future Barbour County students further their education at a 4-year college of their choice.

To donate to the Kelley Family Scholarship Fund or any of TCF’s other scholarship funds, make checks payable to TCF, include the scholarship fund name in the memo line, and send them to Tucker Community Foundation, PO Box 491, Parsons, WV 26287. For a complete list of scholarship funds, visit www.tuckerfoundation.net, where you can also donate online.

The Tucker Community Foundation manages more than 145 endowment funds that annually award scholarships and grants to nonprofit organizations and charitable causes throughout its nine-county service area. Inspired by the flood of 1985, the foundation’s mission is to “create opportunity for the individuals and communities we serve.” For more information on establishing an endowment fund or the foundation, call 304-478-2930.
