GATE Registration 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the GATE Information Bulletin 2025 at https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

The online registration process will be completed by August 24. The exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16. Candidates can download the IIT GATE admit card 2024 from January 2. The result will be announced on March 19.

GATE Information Bulletin 2025 – Release Date and Time

  • GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS): August 24, 2024
  • Deadline for regular online registration/application Thursday: 26 September 2024
  • End of grace period for online registration/application (with late fee): October 7, 2024
  • Deadline for changing the category, exam paper and exam location, adding a new exam paper and changing personal data (additional fee per change): 6 November 2024
  • Tickets available for download: January 2, 2025
  • GATE 2025 Exam Dates: 1, 2, 15, 16 February 2025
  • Announcement of results in GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS): March 19, 2025
  • Score Cards available for free download: March 28, 2025 to May 31, 2025
  • Score Cards will be available for download at a fee of Rs. 500 per paper: 1 June 2025 to 31 December 2025

GATE 2025 exam will be conducted with 30 papers. A candidate can appear for one or two (as per the combinations given in Table 5) of the 30 papers. The examination for all the papers will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
