Global Pilots on the Voepass air crash in the state of São Paulo

MONTREAL, 09 August 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA) is closely monitoring developments related to the accident involving Voepass Linhas Aéreas Flight 2Z-2283, an ATR-72 aircraft, which crashed in the city of Vinhedo, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Our thoughts are with the friends and families of the 58 passengers and four crew members who were on board the aircraft.

The association has reached out to its Brazilian member association, Sindicato Nacional dos Aeronautas (SNA), and will make its resources available to the Brazilian accident investigation authority CENIPA to assist in gathering facts and other potentially relevant information.
