Headlines on Sunday: Former Wildcats win Olympic gold

Saturday was another standout day for the former Kentucky Wildcats at the Olympics. The men’s basketball team completed its run to the gold medal, with Devin Booker’s 15 points the highlight.

On the track, Masai Russell took the gold medal in the 100m hurdles, while Alexis Holmes and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone were part of the 4x400m relay that posted a time of 3:15.27, the second fastest time ever and one-tenth of a second off the world record. McLaughlin-Levrone finished the race on the second leg with an incredible split time of 47.70 seconds.
