As fall approaches, we begin to look at the predicted color trends that will define the coming year. For 2025, HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams has unveiled Naturally refined as the color collection of the year 2025 and Quiet as the outstanding color of the year.
With a focus on understated elegance, the collection consists of ten soft colors that blend seamlessly in all types of homes, creating interior designs that are calming and thoughtful.
To mark the announcement of the new color collection, HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams has also partnered with interior design and technology company Palazzo to help homeowners visualize color trends in their own spaces, making the color selection process more personal.
Colour collection of the year 2025: Naturally sophisticated
Inspired by a slow and sustainable pace of life, the 2025 Color Collection was designed to offer homeowners inviting and calming colors, from trendy browns to nature-inspired greens, from light neutrals to mid-blues.
“The Naturally Refined color collection reflects a desire for simplicity and a slower pace of life,” says Ashley Banbury, color marketing manager at HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams.
Whether used together as a colour combination for rooms or individually, each of the following colours is suitable for a wide range of interior design styles:

• Sequin HGSW6394, “a brightening and uplifting shade with goldenrod influence”

• Nutshell HGSW6040, a “neutral chocolate brown”
• Spiced Cider HGSW7702, a “nature-inspired rust tone”
• Snowbound HGSW7004, a “sophisticated, pure white with warm undertones”

“Each hue has been carefully curated with longevity in mind, exuding elements of timeless design and quiet luxury to create a living space that feels meaningful,” adds Ashley.
Color of the Year 2025: Calm
Quietude is the standout shade in the collection and is described as a “cool sage green with a hint of blue.” An in-between shade, Quietude is an incredibly calming color that acts as an elevated take on typical neutrals. Neither too blue nor too green, it doesn’t overwhelm spaces and works with both modern and traditional decorating ideas.
“Within the collection, the soft sage green Quietude stands out as the Color of the Year 2025, setting the stage for a tranquil space for relaxation,” says Ashley.
Indoors, Quietude acts as the dominant wall color in many rooms – from the bedroom to the living room – and combines well with numerous other colors thanks to its soft undertones.
Alternatively, you can also use this calm shade as an exterior color, for example as a color idea for the front door. This is guaranteed to create a sophisticated and understated entrance to your home.

In conjunction with the 2025 color collection, HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams also announced its new partnership with interior design and technology company Palazzo. Founded by tennis guru and entrepreneur Venus Williams along with Raffi Holzer and Edward Lando, the innovative platform uses AI technology to help homeowners visualize color in their own spaces.
By uploading pictures of a room, users on the platform get personalized design ideas and can choose the right color ideas for the room from the collection.
