Hotel Vermont offers hotline for fall foliage forecast in Vermont

Fall is fast approaching, with just over a month of summer left before we fully immerse ourselves in pumpkin spice, thick scarves, and soup. One of the most exciting moments of the onset of fall is the changing of the leaves. The trees go from bright green canopies to tapestries of orange, red, and gold. Trying to capture maximum leaf color is a science, and people go to great lengths each year to experience fall leaf color in its full glory.

This year, you can get your news on the best foliage from a much cuter and more original source than a website. (If you want to check a website, though, Thrillist diligently updates its fall foliage forecast.) The Hotel Vermont, the only independent hotel in Burlington, Vermont, has its own fall foliage hotline. Calling them will give you the most important foliage information, as well as tips on the best scenic drives, local events, and other great tips.

“Our new fall foliage hotline provides expert insight from our experienced team here in Vermont, ensuring that both locals and guests can experience the beauty and abundance of fall and all it has to offer from a Burlington perspective,” said Matt Canning, General Manager of Hotel Vermont, of the new hotline.

To use the hotel’s hotline, simply dial 802-651-0080. The hotline is operational September through October. Be prepared to also receive information about the Hotel Vermont’s Fall Harvest Package, which includes fresh apple cider donuts, local apple cider, and coupons for apple picking and pumpkin farms.
