Alien: Romulus will be in cinemas this Friday – it is the 7th film in the series, or the 9th if you count the Alien vs Predator Crossover films. The standalone film takes place between the events of the original Foreigner (1979) and Aliens (1986). Directed by Fede Álvarez, known for his work in the horror genre, the marketing suggests that Romulus could be more like the horror classic directed by Ridley Scott than the action-oriented sequel by James Cameron or the philosophical Prometheus.
