Billy Joel fans get another chance to see the Piano Man’s Madison Square Garden Special, which airs Friday (August 23) on CBS.

The special first aired on April 14 and was repeated on April 19 after a “station schedule timing error” ended the initial broadcast early. CBS apologized for shortening the concert special during its initial broadcast and announced that the special would be repeated later that week.

“A timing error in the station’s programming ended yesterday’s special broadcast of Billy Joel approximately two minutes early in the Eastern and Central time zones,” said the statement, which Joel posted on X at the time. “We apologize to Mr. Joel, his fans, our affiliated stations and our audiences whose viewing experience was interrupted during the final song. Due to overwhelming demand from his legion of fans, BILLY JOEL: THE 100TH – LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN will be rebroadcast in its entirety on CBS on April 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.”
