IndyCar starting grid, qualifying results at the Bitnile.com GP Portland

play

The IndyCar Series sets the lineup for its final road course stop of the season at Portland International Raceway, where a 110-lap race is expected on the 12-turn, 1.964-mile track.

Santino Ferrucci, whose place with AJ Foyt Racing for 2025 is not certain, takes a stunning pole position, his first career performance and the team’s first since 2014 when Takuma Sato took P1 at Detroit’s Belle Isle.

Will Power, the career king of IndyCar qualifying, is on the outside of the front row and series leader Alex Palou is third.

Kyle Kirkwood qualified fifth and 2023 Portland pole winner Graham Rahal qualified sixth, but both will be demoted six spots for Sunday’s race for unauthorized engine changes.
