Jamie Mortakis has been appointed Senior Catering Sales Manager at the Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza

In her new role as Senior Catering Sales Manager, Mortakis will oversee the planning and execution of events, work with the kitchen team to design thoughtful menus and develop her client relationships.

Mortakis comes to Loews Nashville Hotel with a track record of impressive success in the hospitality industry. Most recently, she served as Associate Director of Catering & Events at The Hermitage Hotel, where she was responsible for all catering revenue. Prior to that, she worked at Four Seasons Hotel Denver, rising from reservation agent to Group Service Manager, where she managed high-profile entertainment and sports groups.

As Nashville’s first luxury hotel, the AAA Four Diamond property has hosted many of the city’s most prestigious galas, events and award ceremonies since its opening in 1989. With Mortakis appointment, there is renewed enthusiasm to further enhance the hotel’s premier position as a preferred venue for social events such as galas, weddings, holiday gatherings, product launches, panel discussions and the like.
